Gofer are now members of NAPIT's scheme for Temporary Electrical Systems (TES).
What does this mean to you?
That all the work carried out by Gofer is done in accordance to relevant industry standards with the current edition of BS7909.
That all temporary power installations carried out by Gofer comply with the Electricity at Work regulations along with other regulations including the Provision and Use of Work Equipment regulations.
The requirement is that at least one member of staff has their BS7909 qualification. Gofer currently has two members with this qualification, with a further two members booked to complete the course later this year. We ran our first BS7909 course at the end of 2018 and some of our freelance crew also attended and passed the qualification. We have a second course taking place in 2019.
The Gofer has suitable Public Liability Insurance specific to the temporary electrical installation work undertaken.
The Gofer has sufficient instruments to carry out tests specified in the scheme rules and BS7909 and relevant calibration certificates.
Overall it offers you additional peace of mind that Gofer are fully compliant in the work that we carry out, offering your a reliable and safe standard of work.
