To celebrate International Women's Day we are launching our 'Meet the Team' blog series.
Today we meet Liz (or Elizabeth if you are a family member!)
Liz joined the team when Nic and herself bought Gofer in May 2016. She jointly owns Gofer with her husband Nic (who you will meet in a future blog). Her role is Director of Operations and Resources. She comes from a HR background having gained her MSc in Human Resource Management in 2016.
Liz is based at Gofer HQ working on marketing, HR, payroll and looking at ways to improve the service the Gofer has to offer.
"Gofer has been part of my life for many years. Nic has worked for Gofer as a Project Manager and then as a freelancer for most of the time I have known him. Gofer has a great working environment. I love working in the events industry and the exciting challenges that it brings every day. It is certainly a big change from my previous job role, but I am enjoying the diverse work environment and how no two days are the same.
We have had an amazing first year at Gofer and it has been great to work on some amazing events. 2017 is already shaping out to be another exciting year working with lots of new clients as well as existing clients."
